HUGH ENSOR
Skipper Hugh Ensor grew up with an intense love of the sea, spending his boyhood years on the East Coast near Gisborne learning a love of fishing and hunting and the "Great Outdoors".After finishing school he did an apprenticeship as an Engineer which has stood him in good stead when it comes to maintaining the three vessels.
After that some years were spent hunting deer and goats for the Government in various locations around New Zealand. These skills have now been honed and are put into practice on the sea hunting fish.
Hughs childhood love of the sea led to him following a career as a commercial diver, at which he proved to be very adept. He spent six years working in various countries in the offshore oilfield industry.
Hugh holds a NZ Commercial Launch Masters ticket. Second to none, he has an awesome reputation for putting fish on the boat, specializing in reef and hapuka fishing anywhere in the Bay of Plenty.
MIKE GARRETT
Michael has had 30 years experience skippering in the Bay of Plenty. In all this time, he remains accident free, an excellent record.
The Skipper's skill is essential for a good days fishing, and Mike is one of the best.
He knows where to find the fish!
SCOTT ENSOR
SCOTT WAS BROUGHT UP ON BOATS! He is a hunter and gatherer making him an awesome and determined Skipper. This guy has a real passion for fishing and diving and knows the industry really well.Recently qualified as a Skipper, Scott is gaining a reputation already.
He has been trained by his Dad who is one of the best in the industry.
