Blue Ocean Charters now operates fishing and boating trips anywhere in the Bay of Plenty.
.........catch a big snapper or some fat tarakihi at Motiti or Mayor Islands, fish the deepwater knolls around Mayor Island for hapuka, bass, bluenose, gemfish and kingfish, troll in the clear waters around the Aldermans for that elusive marlin, dive for crayfish or scallops, spend a week relaxing at Great Barrier Island, the choice is yours........
If you are a beginner and have never fished before but would like to have a go, don't worry, we will show you all the tricks.
You can hire our fishing rods and use our tackle for the day if you do not have your own, or we now have the option of purchasing a suitable new rod and reel which comes spooled up with a quality line, three rigs (trace, hooks and sinkers included)and $10 worth of bait for $250. This option is ideal if you plan to carry on and do some more fishing and are not sure what to go and buy. Take advantage of our experience.
We offer fishing trips for individuals or small groups on public trips, and small and large groups on charters.
If you are very experienced and want to get out there amongst the big ones we can cater for you as well.
Our Skippers have plenty of experience boating and catching fish in this area so come and take advantage of their fishing knowledge ~"EXPERIENCE = RESULTS"
